For a minute I thought I'd clicked on Adv.rider ,com by mistake. I dont ride with chase vehicles. The nearest Husky dealer, like Starbucks, is 150 miles away. It's cool to read about all the techno bikes coming to market. But on the rare chance my KLR gets a hiccup somewhere between Ekalaka and Otter MT, and Im sitting on my butt in the dirt and scratching my head about the cause, there's no other bike I'd rather be on than my trusty KLR! Because so far, I've always been able to bring it back to life and get me back to where I need to be. The two lines on the spec sheet I never see are Dependability and Simplicity (ease of troubleshooting and or repair).
You tube channel “On Her Bike” episode 80. I love when she asks the bmw rider if he has had any problems then at 8:33 asks the guy riding the KLR if he has had any issues. A foot peg that is falling off. Totally his fault😂. For a better idea on how big of a pain in the butt computerized bikes are watch her ride through Africa from the beginning. Just say’n.
