I bought a part from them and I'm very disappointed with the quality of it and especially with the quality of the after-sales service. You can make a mistake, but not owning up to it is the worst thing for me. Here's my story. So I ordered a part for my quad from Caltric. A very simple part for the exhaust... just metal and welds, so almost no risk for me. Once I received it, I realized that the part was delivered to me in a tiny box with no protection... okay...
Luckily, the delivery people took care of the package, but it was close to disaster. I opened the box to inspect it and immediately realized that Caltric has its welds done by blind people (with all due respect to the blind). Disgusting welds and only half-done. I didn't want to complain about the lack of protection of the part, but at the welds it was no longer possible...
So I decided to contact customer service to discuss my problem, and at first everything went well. My contacts seemed friendly, and I shared my concerns with them. They asked for a photo, which I sent them, and they admitted their mistake. Then they offered me a partial refund. At first, I refused, explaining that I didn't want this solution and that I would also refuse to return my part if they asked me to (I'd already waited almost a month to receive it, and I couldn't wait another two months for a new one). Summer in France is short, and I couldn't afford it.
After receiving no response from them... I decided to follow up with them, and they finally started writing to me again. I understood at that point that they wouldn't accept their mistake because they offered me a partial refund again, even though I had clearly proven with photos that their part was defective and unacceptable.
Having no real choice, I asked how much they were offering me as a partial refund, and they replied, "We can offer you a $5 partial refund, or you can return the part for a refund."
I'm not even going to thank Suzanna, Sona, Anjela, Mane, and Tatev from Caltric after-sales service. Because yes... I dealt with five different people about my little problem... And I advise everyone to go elsewhere for your motorcycle and ATV parts if you don't want to waste time and money.
A $5 PARTIAL REFUND FOR A PART I PAID MORE THAN $50 FOR... that's the respect with which these dear Caltric employees treat you.
