After putting 3700 mostly commute miles on the 08, I needed new tires. I read almost every post I could concerning tire selections for street. I dont really want to be replacing these every 3500 or so. I opted for the Kenda 761 in front and rear. I just installed the wheels and was surprised with the feeling of the tires. The stockers seemed to turn in very well and the Kenda's seem to resist turning in. I have to put more handlebar pressure in to keep the bike turned. I am sure I will get the hang of it, but for now, it is very strange feeling. I attribute this to the possibility of me getting used to riding from a bald strip to going on edge on the stockers vs. always having rubber under me with these. They are a good looking tire with the deep street tread. I did run just a couple minutes in loose grassy dirt. They are definately not meant to be an offroad tire unless you appreciate the feeling of floating (not much grip) and steering with the throttle.
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone who is trying to decide on these. Once I get a few hundred miles on them, I will update the post.
